Why do you keep on answering your own questions Ali yer irriot

Just because your LA allows you to run old cheap cars doesn't mean everyone else's does, in an area where there are age restrictions to own and op a WAV it is going to cost the average non mechanical minded driver £200 - £250 plus radio fees pw if he needs a radio.

Why should I hand mine back, I bought it so I had a job for life, I've no intent to sell it for any profit, unlike you I might add, I've been serving my public for well over twenty years now with clean modern vehicles.

putting one post after another doesnt mean im answering myself
in fact im asking you a question your failure to answer tells me you have no quality controls, only quantity.
thats how you got in
btw mines is as good as yours without the bigoted driver.

I got in because I accepted that you had to put the folding down to get in, and before you carry on I could've gotten issued a free one at the time if I wanted.

I can't be here night and day just incase you answer.

Bigot, that is about the best you've got isn't it Betty Friedan

c'mon you could have got a free one but you paid instead.
funny thing is i actually believe you
you really are one of the head in the sand brigade arent you doom

couldve got a free plate but paid money instead
would rather spend more money on a cab than is neccessary

are you barking mad :?:
whydont you come up hear and ill sell you some tartan paint, you get 3 lungfulls of fresh air with it.worth £9.99 each

Yeah sweet Ali :D

The reason I bought in was because the saloon could be replaced for 7-10k each time rather than 23k for a WAV, what I paid for the plate and the cost of my following 2 cars came to the same as a WAV, which had to be new at 1st licence to get a plate.

Have you a left handed screwdriver, a bag of plastic nails and a long weight by any chance? you'll certainly have one of those three before long when all those new plates arrive

you crack me you really do

i forgot you bought in to avoid!!!! yes higher costs.
avioding a 30k vehicle so you can run around in a 5 year old £1000 motor
and what do you decry me for again?

quality or what

I think it means you've no quality controls up there in your nations capital.......and I think if you think age restrictions are quality controls your deluded.

CC

i dont think age restrictions are quality controls never have never will.
and although better quality controls could be implemented up here,it would be better driver controls and not vehicle ones.
youve been up here before with youre little paper round wayne.
you know the edinburgh fleets pretty high quality.

ECC should be ashamed of recent changes to its knowledge system.

I've never ran a 1k car Ali, the cheapest one was my 1st PH OD, which was an 85 Cavalier that cost me £3600 in 1987.

I generally budget £10k for a car, and hope to get a decent spec 18mth old job with around 20k on the clock, recently I've noticed anything I want is now 2 yrs old and at least 12k so I'm running the current one on until the finance is finished on it so I can hopefully get 2k px on it and reduce the next car accordingly, I let vanity get the better of me 11 yrs ago and bought a bells and whistles Omega that did 17 to the gallon and cost me 13k to buy, never again, but it was nice cruizin in it, put a few noses out of joint on the rank as well, my next one if the prices remain silly will either be a brand new one or a s/h C class as there's only a grand in it between that and a Passat and I know which one will retain more value come selling time at the dealers.
