AliT, Gusmac,

Just received a letter from the cooncil acknowleding receipt of my application and also informing me a copy has been sent to LBP (standard). They will write to me in due course to advise me of the date my application will be considered by the RC sub licensing committee. They also enclosed a copy of objection from CRT/City (Anderson Fyfe) citing No SUD and that CRT/City advise the council they will require to take account of any updated information it receives in the intervening period as to the demand for taxi services before deciding whether to grant or refuse the application. Anderson Fyfe document 10 pages
I suppose that all applicants have or will receive same? Any thoughts???

Ali is correct. The council don't need to justify a grant but must justify a refusal.
The CRT/City objection will be thrown out. If not, it's grounds for appeal.
Have you bought a cab yet jinky?

id start lookin
i know how you feel, i felt the same but ive been round the block a few times now,and have read all the cgsa and case law upside down, imo its yours !
but! ive said this before, and you should bear it in mind, it all depends on the resolve of the applicants! if the council decide to make an unlawfull decision and they are prone to it.
