Yes your right CC but not all of them but the workers made redundant could be taken on to meet the unexpected demand that's if they promise no more shoddy workmanship

I dont know wtf you mean by that.

The vito is converted in Coventry, and allied cabs may need another assembly line to meet demand

I see.

I wonder why they don't / haven't bought the metrocab facility then? Lets face facts irrespective of the decision in Liverpool the equality bill doesn't cater for the mixed fleet scenario so every taxi in the UK will have to be a WAV.

Its also clear that the MP's on the equality bill committee realise the implications of HC's switching code to PH......so PH will have to offer WAV's too.

If LTI's product is so wonderful, when are you buying one?

They might even give you a decent trade in on the Skoda.

The van chassis is produced in France, but the taxi manufacture is in the UK!!

So where are the movement of goods infringed?

Luckily some of us know what we're talking about. isn't it

Unlucky you don't.

The infringement of EU competition legislation is the fact that less Peugeot Expert Teppe chassises are imported with the restriction in place in Liverpool, Manchester & London & elsewhere.

Anything infringment of movement of goods in whatever state of production is an infringment under EU competition rules.

I don't believe there's anything in European law that states you have to change your requirements to meet their products..... if they want to compete comply with the conditions that are required.... simple..... that is the point .....simple

In that case he is more normal than most, a refreshing change.

He must have had a field-day then because there were three females, two barristers & an intervener.

Ms Dinah Rose QC appeared on behalf of the Claimant, Ms Francis Patterson QC appeared on behalf of the Defendant & Ms Y Genn (instructed by EHRC) appeared on behalf of the Intervener.

Why are you so against the result of this hearing?

The Government's Make Law's, judges interpret the law, on the evidence placed before them.... it is like going to the theatre sometimes... he who gives the best performance wins... the case means nothing to me... and most of the time.... the law is a donkey.. PS.. I seem to remember that when the E7 first came on the market, one was licensed as a private hire vehicle in Liverpool.... maybe it should have been mentioned in court...
