Its the EU...they write the laws they want so if something stands in their way because of legal issues then they circumvent it by making up new laws to suit. I think its fairly well shown that most EU citizens would like a vote on the Lisbon treaty but the Eurocrats have made it impossible to do so.

One day people will realise that they are being conned and dominated and will stand up and fight the whole EU system...all we need do is wait, give them enough rope and they will eventually hang themselves...

I thought you lot were happy with the EU.....after all we have the Liverpool court case and Skippys Euro private car taxi law

Cost of Just One EU Directive

Christopher Booker in the Sunday Times of 13 May 07 reports that the huge cost (£65 billion) imposed on the water companies by the need to comply with three "water purification" EU Directives has taken up most of the funds available for capital spending. Only £14 billion was left to spend on infrastructure, including stopping the leaks which waste a large proportion of the water they pump. No one in this country can do anything about this, so naturally the Government has hushed it up.

Id rather pee on an electric fence as be forced to vote Yes for staying in the EU...I just cant stand the unelected cretins, we should have a Stay in or Get out Vote every 5 years...then things might get a bit more sensible..

Not so! when it comes to money our lot have had it written into the constitution that they will dictate their own taxation and our own laws...........well! in truth the law bit will be done to suit,if you know what I mean. The money bit is definitely sacrosanct.

If I can retire early and on a chunkier pension and get all the benefits that the top EU countries get....and then work 35 hours like some do and live longer like most in the EU do...and get paid top whack when im off sick..

Well then I might just be more agreeable to the EU ideal, but sh*t happens and this is britain...they'll impose all their EU Crap on us whilst creaming off our hard earned readies that we have to work longer to earn and for which we get much less in return.

They go on about Human rights and equality...well then, let their first act of humanity and equality be that they give us all a right to a make or break, in or out vote on the EU...as a guy said on telly today, nobody under 52 years of age has ever Voted to be part of the EU or not..1975 was the last Vote we were given...and that was for a simple comon market, not this ugly brute of a thing that the EU has become..

Nope..They can go stuff themselves in Brussels as I want one want no part of it..

Nahh..ive a [edited by admin] plan...Shhhhhh!!..dont tell everyone..but Im gonna get a Walking Stick..put on a limp...get a Mobility car and get loads of state allowances in cash thrown at me until the day I die, all thanks to human rights and equality.

I know this idea is novel and has never been tried before because we brits are way to honest to scam the system.

Anyways....I wont ever have to strike a bat ever again and I'l be able to enjoy my life in the new EU shangri-la, I wont worry about paying for a thing simply cos i'll be on the take.

god the Ideas so simple its sheer genius...but hey...keep it to yourself or others might try it first..
