Well done to all concerned,it is victories like this that prove the effectiveness of banding together.Amazingly it would seem that some amongst us are prepared to scoff and play down the fact that despite this success, many Councils are still not prepared to listen to the local drivers who face extreme hardship do to oversubscription of plates in the area.
Congratulations to the Bracknell drivers and the GMBpdb southern region for pushing through this reversal in the councils decision.Perhaps other associations in adjoining councils may wish to achieve the same success,
should you wish to discuss then contact Mick Hildreth.

They will, I'm quite active with other cabbies around the country, all they need is the right words to show them how to repel the invader's, it's in it's infancy now but it's gaining weight, every time something happens it makes the PHM and Taxi mags, if there's one thing the trade really needs more than anything it's to get the cheap seats out, they can't see it but they are effectively to the trade what an Indian call centre is to a British customer, i.e ineffective and hard to understand, and now for my speech
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Britain,
we shall fight on the Ranks and Roads,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the Cab, we shall defend our Income, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the Stations,
we shall fight on the Supermarket grounds,
we shall fight in the Civic Offices and in the streets,
we shall fight in the Terminals;
we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Trade or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the Council, armed and guarded by the WAV Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the Old World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the New."
I thank you
