Am I the only one who thinks the UK is a dead camel carcass and the rest of the world is feeding on it?

Been like that for over 25 years Doom, we need a change and we need it quick and not in the way of Labour, Tories or the Lib Dems.

Since the closure of heavy industry like the Steel Works, Coal Mines, Heavy Engineering car plants etc etc we've been on a slippery slope to oblivion. We've got nothing to offer the world now.

Well I'm not, and it must be really lovely being one of your punters.

You must live in another dimension tbh, you are the only person I know who thinks everything is rosy and life is good, right now that's an impossible mission if you are a cabby, or is it you live in some little village where none of the issues ever reach, when will you reveal to the folks on here who you really are, because a one man operation cab driver you most certainly aren't, infact you read more like a councilor with something to gain from it all.

No I live firmly in the real world.

If someone from abroad slagged off this country as you do, then you would quite rightly say 'if you don't like it, go away'. So if you don't like it go and find somewhere better.

No wonder your trade is in the mire. Your punters must be suicidal when they get out of your cab.

I know it's hip to slag off the UK, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. And if I did, then I would.

From my ivory tower I have seen the cab trade lose vast amounts of work to the PH trade, and with miserable folks driving cabs, they will carry on losing more.

No one owes the cab trade a living.

As for the country, I love it.

It's not the rest of the world eating the carcus as there's nothing left anyway. Were being eaten from the inside through privatization and greedy shareholders, the creation of agency work and now lax immigration. Nobody is prepared to stand up anymore and we have a mentality of ' i'm all right jack'. Just like the 110,000 applicants for the temp royal mail staff who were prepared to work lads jobs while they are fighting for conditions and jobs. Then weve got the PC brigade who are the biggest problem, if we had some sort of poll to find out what the actual % of the population this pc brigade has then we would all be shocked to realise how stupid we have all been to be dictated to by these minority tossers for the last 10 or so years.
