In some parts of the country it's OK, in other parts it's dead as anything. Round our way it's dead, the recession is really digging it's heals in.

Not here it isn't, but then again where you work the council wants ppl to have a good time, where I am they don't want anyone going anywhere after dark unless they are a student, and they've conveniently built all the accomodation next to the drinking areas.

Buy a Fish n Chip shop!!

Moving people about for money is about fecked.....at a rough estimate Id say things are 20% down on where they should be, money gets tighter, Fuel goes up, VED goes up, Insurance goes up, competition increases daily, tenders get tighter, rules get stiffer, government dreams up more draconian laws all the time, drunks get drunker, upchuckers chuck further and pshycos get more violent.

Thats how it is.....welcome to our world

Yes I even got them to check the price again as I thought all that would have come to around the £20 mark well it would up here its now £6.00 for a fish supper  all we get is whiting

The more unsociable hours you work, the more you will earn.

Don't spend all your time talking to the doom-mongers, just grab as much as you can and treat the punters well.

All bar the scum that is, treat them to the door.

How do you know what is scum? the nicest ppl upon entering turn nasty, and Swampy tips you, there ain't no book and cover, you just don't know until you hit the 1st junction.

It ain't doon and gloom, it's truth, if you wanna divorce and spend half the night wondering if the punter is gonna be sick or has any money come on in, personally I'm about to ask Tesco if they need shelf filler's it's that bad.
