well jinky my apps in to and am a little worried to i havent heard anything boo feckin hooo :cry:

so why would i be worried :roll:

grow a pair of gahonies or are you a bird. And as for you niddrilite i am lucky enough that i can walk away from taxis at any time what will you do niddrilite sign on once youve spent your 40k which wont last long with grandchildren :lol:

My belief is the same as anyone else in business, to have competition but not to the extreme that making a living becomes impossible.

I see your logic, if you can obtain and then sell on it makes you a nice little packet doesn't it, I never bought to sell on, although it's fast becoming something I must do though, and I'm thinking of becoming an LO, at least then I can help the HC's preserve their work from illegal PH, and also tell those who don't know above me how the trade works, creme floats to the top, and I am creme, especially in this game.

And finally, I don't blame you tbh Ali, you've found a loophole and you are exploiting it, but as the saying goes "what comes around goes around" so the more ppl like you that society breeds the less civilised life will become (I know you'll read that as a dig but it isn't) look around you, no respect for the old, no respect for property, feral gang's etc, all because those that should've said no this isn't the way to do things kept quiet, I'm unsure how old you are, so if you are under 30 you'll be unaware of the type of world that you and those like you are creating, I don't expect a sensible answer and no doubt you will answer me 4 seperate times before I get to answer you, but the psychology of how you answer tells me you are one of those that has to ram his point in many times over because deep down you know you are wrong and the multiple answering is the only way you can compute and feel justified, it's almost a bully syndrome tbh, enjoy your future mate, but the longer this treading on another blokes head while he ain't looking goes on the worse things will become.

You seem to be labouring under a misapprehention, Doom.
Unlike England, buying and selling of plates/ transfer of licence is not legal in Scotland.
When the licence holder no longer wishes to hold the licence - for whatever reason - it is supposed to be returned to the local authority.

CEC are the ones who exploited a loophole in the 1982 act by allowing individual plate holders to surrender their plates/ licences and reissued them in the names of LLPs and LTD companies. The company/LLP is what gets sold, not the plate. That remains in the name of the company and is always the property of the issuing authority.
By allowing this, CEC created the plate market. Go figure :roll:

believe me I would tell that guy to his face what I think not just on the computer, who is he to call me a weazel, I never insulted him did I?

As for passengers, believe me I have all the attributes to be a cabby and a good one at that. I know what and when to say things to passengers and how to conduct myself therefore do not worry about me.
I have nearly 30 years experience within Financial Services as a professional and have come up against reprobates like Dug many a time but I can also drop down to his level when required. :wink:
