Try phoning the relevant department at CEC and ask how your application is progressing.
They have to look at your application within 3 months and decide on it within 6 months. It should at least be scheduled for consideration at a forthcoming meeting of your licensing committee by now.

the other apps are still waiting i believe
i doubt they will tell you whats happening till they know what they are doing themselves.
they have six months, after that its yours anyway.
they also have to consider within 3 months but this need be little more than lip service.
but i think you will get an answer sooner rather than later,as the new senior solicitor seems to interpret the law as its supposed to be interpreted.
honestly i wouldn't worry jinky if you've applied,its yours.
i doubt anyone who has even glanced at the legislation and read the case law can possibly see any other way out for cec other than that .

no chance been with them all apart from city.
once you have paid your dues and all the running around you are no better off.
i don't know how long you have been in the game,or what companies you've been with, but trust me on this, the street is the only place to be.
do the maths it just doesn't add up
sole driver or double shifted you make little extra if you rent out both shifts, and you lose out if you drive it yourself.

when i worked for companies i used to wonder how street cabs survived
until i tried it myself, they make exactly the same dosh, but with none of the hassle.

and its all cash, which can be a positive and a negative as the wife dips it daily.

I don't think it would be hard to just work the streets up there, every time I have come up half the city gives me a wave, and if you don't disappear to Little France at 3AM like most seem to do you can earn even more

I've always tended to take that view.

I don't think you're any better off on nights on a circuit, but thousands seem to like it.

You'll always earn a living without adverts / circuits, but without the driver / owner, they earn nothing.

Some of them tend to forget that.
