does anyone out there with a series 3 metro .know why the near side window does not work when it rains, i have always had a problem with that window, even in the dry, even fred the guru metro man cant fix it. so any help would be much apreciated.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the car, but sometimes if you don't know what the problem is, it helps to narrow down WHERE it is . ..methodically wetting down the cab with a hose while a helper works the electric switch might give you an indication of where the short, or open, circuit is.
