I'm not too sure it will all be done and dusted on that date.

Methinks the fellas with the white wigs will get to decide the final outcome.

ah
i told you, you needed stamina and resolve for this type o' game.
recommendations mean nowt
it looks like you've given up before you've even been in their.

why do you think they say it places them in a difficult position

why do they think they are offering money back on a non refundable application.

they are up sheet creek, but i said it before most will take there money and limp meekly away and your initial reaction may just prove me right

anyhoo

think ill sell these 2 and reapply

here is my prediction for what its worth

most will take the council bribe and get there money back

the 27 will be granted off the ipl

Garry and Jim and some other stragglers will take them to court and have all there plates granted.(and it wont take years only a matter of months)

cap remains on and all the applicants with some backbone will have there licenses

leaving some very disgruntled refused applicants

heres hoping the councilors get hauled over the coals for this.

I thought you said that the council will have to issue all the plates. Now you are admitting that they won't!

and they do have to IMO

the courts always have the final say, surely you didn't expect cec to do the right thing, and abide by the any form of decency, let alone the law.

anyway we will all know within the next few months when they are refused and then appealed in court.

after looking through it in more detail

IMO they know full well there up shet creek.

appendix 1 of report , letter sent to all those on the ipl ,the advice in that letter totally contradicts the advice given in the main report.

also deciding to invite those that have been refused licenses in the distant past, and then to recommend that those invited applicants can then jump ahead of those who currently and recently applied before them, and were therefore the only ones with live applications, when demand was established.
it would also mean that the invited ipl's would therefore have to have there applications considered by the council before applicants who had applied before them.

its a sure fire winner in court

give this up and your throwing your plate away.

and don't get me wrong those on the ipl
have every right to be angry to
they also have a bloody good case, only because the dafties at the council sent oot daft letters promising them what the law says they ain't entitled to,and mr mcleod knows full well that this council and its previous administration have allowed the current situ to occur,he almost gives them a slap down in so many words.

in fact here it is in a nutshell

the ppl that applied before those on the ipl were invited to apply should in all fairness be considered by the committee in order of date received, before those on the ipl who applied after them.
thier is nothing fair about this, and I'm sure a sheriff will agree.
