well Grandad,if JG has a signed letter from the controllers of the m4 lane IE,The HIGHWAYS AGENCY telling him that he can use the lane,he then advises all his drivers of this and tells them that he will pay any fines that may be issued .Could it be argued that the drivers are acting under the direction of the company.........further is this a decriminalised offence or not...should it go to court would be very interesting......oh and by the way JG IS NOT THE LICENSE HOLDER FOR ADDY/LEE so fit and proper does not apply here :-({|= \:D/

That answers jack sh*t......and I suggest you read up on the offences committed because in the provinces fines are declared.

Now, tell me about these female workers the GMB effectively sh*fted

Whom?

I see, when I ask a question I show contempt.

Fair enough, I'll leave this thread alone.

If John griffin instructed his drivers to go through red lights, would they?
If John Griffin instructed his drivers to go up one way streets the wrong way, would they?
Is the Highways agency responsible for the bus lane? I ask that because I don't know the answer.

The Higways agency is responsible for the bus lane BUT it is not an enforcement authority

Not. RTA 1988 and TSGDR 2002 apply. Police enforcement. The Highways Agency have no authority to repeal the legislation. Only parliament can do that or, exceptionally, the Secretary of State may have powers under Statutory Instrument. The most the Highways Agency can do is a vague indication regarding current enforcement policy.

Have you an answer to the question about instructions regarding red lights ands one way streets yet?

this is all too cryptic for me!

Simple question.......what was the outcome of your meeting last week ? Is there to be a trial in Bromley or any other local area ?

I think some on here have been watching too many episodes of spooks!

The bus lane in question massively underused and our experience is that the customers are very pleased and other users are not inconvenienced.

Should we be challenged on this issue we intend to take this matter through legal process and hope to take that opportunity to extend the issue to include all London bus lanes.

There is a matter of discrimination of our trade and the denial of equal opportunity to compete with our competitors. I am confident that commonsense and justice will prevail.

And that's why you and Griffin are Minicab drivers. :D

Don, are you really this weird, or is just an act you do for sympathy?

Quite a serious question, do you drink before you come on here?

What's happened of course is that your little plan has been headed of at the pass, and like Raeburn you're now hurting and scrambling around for silly smart arse remarks when people ask you simple questions, like, why do Minicab drivers break the law or why do Minicab drivers sexually assault 8 girls every month?

You know the answers, but choose to ignore them, because that’s what Minicab drivers do best, and that’s why they will always be the underclass of the London passenger transport sector.

This is also why I took one of Raeburn’s drivers weekly wage last night. Punters prefer the safety of us over you. Look at NOBU, the car service is now wiped out, because folks only use you as a last resort. :D

The rest of TDO can see what’s happening, why can't you and Raeburn?

I never claimed you were Raeburn, The post was directed at Don and Raeburn. Are you getting paranoid?

As I've mentioned before, I couldn't give a hoot who you are.

You're part of the Minicab industry.

One day with a little effort, you could be a real London Taxi Driver, but that would take commitment, patience and the ability to know where you're going in London, the ability not to discriminate against disabled passengers, and those with guide dogs, the ability to pass a DSA examination, and a wheelchair users test.

Keep trying.

We are.
