One of the busiest nights of the year and we've had 4 or 5 inches of the stuff in 2 hours........night off!

What a wimp, I worked from lunchtime to 5 AM this morning best night for a long time, being mad Friday, a bit of snow never stops me though all those with Carlos fandango super wide wheels where stumped, and had to go home :D
1 in 4 hills in the Borders in most parts especially here in Gala, its OK getting up its the getting back down, select 1st don't touch the peddles and pray, nothing is coming along the main road when you get to the junctions

Good day Mr Skippy.

My name is Mr Iain Land-Revenue and I'd be most interested in taking a look at your declared accounts over the last few years....etc, etc

Same here mate, a combination of a [edited by admin] system and snow it's enough to make anyone go in for the night.

I woke up to a light dusting of snow on Friday morning and frozen lakes it all looks very pretty. Then I tried to leave via the lanes to the M6 and that was scary cos they were frozen over in the sub zero temp of -3. It took me a lot longer to get to the motorway but once on it I haven' seen any snow. Where I work it's quite warm compared to what they say we are going to get at 3 degrees so work was as usual full of dead heads in next to nothing on

You know it's icy when you see a gritter slide past you.
