You've never heard of scouser Craig Charles toots? Along with his radio 2 work, he plays Lloyd, the P/H firm driver (possibly even part owner) on Coronation Street. At least, he does when he's not being suspended for drug taking. He's (possibly/probably) more famous for his role in Red Dwarf, as Dave Lister.

As for the radio 2 request...got to be skippy, surely, who subsequently had to announce it himself, as no-one noticed.

Ahh, now I remember. I don't watch soaps so I have no idea what's going on in Coronation Street or any other for that matter :D

A belated Merry Christmas, from the American Colonies . . .

You have all been gracious with all ramblings and I count you among my friends . . .

With spring break just around the corner why not let her go and let her hair down, but you could get her a cab licence as well so she could help fund her way through colage

You are all either working far too hard (Greedy bu99ers!) or nursing such massive hangovers that you can't face the bright lights of the computer screen (Greedy bu99ers)!!

I'm the only one sad enough to keep checking for new posts and they are very few and far between. In fact, I'm feeling rather lonely; Have I done something to upset you, CC, Sussex? Have you fallen out of love with me [again] Toots?

If this was a rank I'd have it all to myself!

We went away to the Sweden for Christmas.

You all thought it snowed here.

No it didn't.

I started back yesterday, it was good after lunch with lots of foreign visitors in London at the moment.

Well, nice to see you all back....Just as I've been off the keyboard for a day or so!!

Did duty car last night, 2200-0700. Didn't stop all night long then get offered a run to Cardiff in 3 hours! OK, 3 hours kip. Felt good. But..... Cardiff turned out to be Pontardawe, 40 miles further on near Swansea.

Couldn't argue too much with a reasonable fare though, it was one of those nasty, sudden death in the family at 0430 this morning, type of jobs. Very sad, particularly at this time of year.

All in all though, a fabulous 15 hours work with a return to come at a later date.

Happy New Year to one and all. :D
