Nope, went to see them many, many years ago when they were in Wandsworth but did not like the set up. Gave up driving minicabs in 1987 but still in the trade albeit in a very different capacity.

he can buy as many as he likes...........unless he has a green badge he can't drive them as taxis in London. He could rent them out i suppose but that still only makes him a proprietor.

The three main circuits don't rent out taxis, the drivers own or rent them then subscribe for the 'radio'.

Mr Griffin has that choice, he could have 2500 Merc Vito London Taxis if he wanted, but given he has to import the majority of his current workforce from Eastern Europe, I'm not sure who would be driving his fleet of Taxis?

The trade papers in London are reporting that Griffen now fancies himself as a London Mayoral Candidate for 2012.

I think 'conflict of interest' may be a stumbling block.
