The Secretary of York Taxi Association has finally decided which side of the fence is better, he has sold his free plate and returned to Private Hire where we all have a better time of things, while the hackneys sit on ranks moaning we are constantly on the go, lets face it which seems the better option, walk to a rank and be met by a miserable b&$*ard or pick up the phone and me collected from your house, simple is't it.

You are absolutely correct, but they think they do the world a favour by taking people home, and only when it suits them, " sorry mate my ramps are being repaired" is the favourite one at the moment when they can't be bothered to load a wheelchair. so they telephone us and we send a car straight away.
