Without any subsidies they will not last, and I can't see Warrington looking at them too favourably. :D

Of course we now look forward to the Traffic Commissioner sticking his hooter in.

Are they 'fit and proper' folks to have a PSV ops license?

They already have one and unless the TC can be bothered to take a look at their operation, which is as rare as hens teeth, they will keep it.

According to a recent bit of information, The DFT and VOSA are looking into ending the running of vehicles with a seating capacity of less than 8 on either a restricted or full PCV operators license. The effect of this would mean that anyone running smaller vehicles would need a council license or be a not for profit group.

That just makes so much sense.

Well at the moment vehicles with 8 or less passenger seats can be licensed by VOSA instead of your LA but I have heard that VOSA and the DFT are about to stop this practice.

I wasn't criticising your post, just saying ending the small PSV license makes sense.
