I wonder how many people will lose their jobs through the new lean mean greater authority?

I bet it aint councillors or those at the top.

I may be wrong, but I doubt it will effect the licensing of taxi/PH for many many years.

To me it's another layer of power for local elected councillors to decide on the bigger pictures/projects.

And the taxi/PH trade never get to those dizzy heights.

Maybe.....however there is a body called AGMA (the association of greater manchester authorities) ? Who seem to be keeping a keen eye on licensing issues.
