I'd still beat their price, and would still get there first whilst their drivers were being held by immigration or getting lost with their sat navs.

Don't worry though, the train stations and onward journeys in London are doing just fine.

But we have lost all that business, and we don't even know how long this is going to go on.

My brother was due to fly back last Saturday from Rome to EMA.
Far from being 'sat on his arse' he couldn't get a hire car until today. There are queues for internet access and then it crashes. He is driving 1045 miles to Calais, hoping to be there Wednesday and then hopefully get on a ferry.
The bill so far?......£600 extra hotel bill,£470 hire car,£160 Tom Tom Europe, whatever the fuel costs, various tolls and another hotel bill....oh and a ferry crossing and Dover to EMA.I can't see much change out of £2000 there. Not everyone has that money do they?
Hopefully he will be back for our Mum & Dad's Golden Wedding meal on Friday or there's another loss.
I tell you what though, out of all the many stories, the one I really feel for is one of my customers who can't get out to South Africa for her Mum's funeral.Holidays can be replaced but how must she feel?
