Better to have it remapped, which is virtually undetecteable, it only being altered firmware on the PCM

like everything else, the PCM has to be a "one size fits all" for ease of build, a car factory is never gonna take every one of thousands of cars to alter the mapping to an optimum figure

many "chips" are simply a resistor that fools the air intake into opening or adding extra fuel

anyway, "chipping/remapping" is at least 10 years old now... nothing new at all

What a load of sheit, LTI spout
super-chip give you a warranty, and if you have already gone over the LTI one then get it chipped
More power and an extra 5 MPG is a bonus
Many thousands have had there cars chipped in the Uk and Europe with no ill effects
I think LTI are jealous of the fact that they have been beaten to it

My 105 bhp skoda is chipped to 132 bhp and I have gone from 47 to 55 mpg

Thank you for your enquiry. Please accept my apologies for the lateness of this reply, we have been having problems with our e-mail.

The TX2 can be modified using our bluefin product (www.mybluefin.co.uk). It will gain approximately 31 bhp and 55 Nm of torque, and in like-for-like use you should see an improvement in economy.

The RRP is £399 including carriage and VAT. If you would like to order through our online shop please order as if for a Transit 2.4 TDCI 90 bhp from 2003-2005.

Kind regards,

Dominic
