A man had two of the best tickets for the FA Cup Final. As he sits down, another man comes along and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him.

"No", he says, "the seat is empty."

"This is incredible!" said the man, "who in their right mind would have a seat like this for the FA Cup Final, the biggest sporting event of the year, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to come with me, but she passed away. This is the first Cup Final we haven't been to together since we got married."

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I guess you couldn't find someone else, a friend or relative or even a neighbour to take the seat?"





The man shakes his head... "No. They're all at the funeral."

So the following morning one of them hops onto a train at Kings Cross ( first class od course) and goes to the National railway Museum at York

He asks them about naming a loco and is told that modern locos are only used to haul freight trains and as he stuffed up the economy would that be such a good idea ?Hmmm says the whitehall mandarin I suppose not what about a vintage one then like that green one over there he says pointing to 4472 Flying Scotsman how much would it cost to rename that one

The loco export pauses for a minute and says well the cost of the paltes ceremony dinner for invited guests etc would be about £5000

Oh says the whitehall mandarin with all the hooha over expenses that might ruffle a few feathers is there a cheaper option
