I had to pop up North last week for a few days.

The average price of derv in Fife / Lothians was around £1.18 a litre.

Why is Herts / Beds / London still on £1.23 plus?

Essex has a refinery, so does central Scotland.

:?

Wages are higher in the south than the north so prices are higher.

What are the traffic volumes for each crossing?

How much is the Severn bridge when you come out of Wales?

If it was £5 each way would a return still not cost a tenner?

Having said all of that, I found ASDA on the Isle of Dogs in East London selling it for £1.16 a litre last night, so not every retailer in London is ripping us off, just about 90% of them.

Why? Is it sheeite?

TBH i've never used ASDA before now as I don't have any near me.

I know my Mum always fills up once a week at ASDA and has always done so with no problems.

Her Toyota cars far more technical than my old heap. :D
