 Post subject: fairway button?

hi new to this site and to fairways (i use to have an old fx4) could anyone tell me what the button to the leftof the automatic gear shiftis for??? and does the instrument cluster i.e. speedo etc share itself with any other make.thanks baz

The button is the over drive select this when you get over 40 MPH, like going into 5th gear, some of the dials and speedo are from a dogs mixture of vehicles mostly Austin and Ford like the headlights off the mini

Location: Used to be in Lowestoft,now escaped.
The switch and light for the 'overdrive' work the opposite round to what you'd think.Light off for high gear on.

Door locks are marked 'Ford'. Did LTI pick the best bits from other makers parts bins,or was it the stuff they had left over?.
