If you spend as much time driving a taxi as you do moaning on here, you would be a very happy rich miserable old sod.....

"CC doesn't own a fleet of taxis.... and I certainly don't mind plates being issued"
And i do not even own a plate

Gusmac . As for the article i will say this again because you obviously did not get what i said no one asked me to post the article and i have said that i made a mistake with the link. Just because no one sends you info does not mean that info is not past between others on the forum. It was a good article and i posted it without getting the authors permission. I have apologized to the author for doing this. :D
I think i have a open mind when it comes to the trade because i have been both an operator and driver. You and the Edinburgh two seem hell bent on contradicting what the majority on this forum say.The difference is that they try to wind everyone up and you are just obnoxious with your arguments. :D

I would be far richer leaching a living of the backs of others like you do.

I think people like CC and MrT are the problem.
People who would stop drivers owning their own cabs so that they can make a living off their backs.

Errm, I own one cab and have one driver, which is me ffs

Ah, yes, more irony. Very droll, Mr T.

Not exactly the impression you give from your postings, Tone. Perhaps you could sum up your opinion on restricted numbers in a paragraph or two, thus allowing others to evaluate your "open mind"?

Ah, yes. So being an operator doesn't suit you, so you seek to prevent others from choosing to operate their own vehicle. Indeed, you seek to prevent others doing what your overseer does?

Very democratic. Clearly minorities aren't allowed a view in Dundee, at least according to Tone, the barons' favourite tame driver.
