Why couldnt the police, fire brigade, ambulance service run on red diesel?
or do they not pay the fuel duty anyway?
The Army run on cherry, with the Ambulances and Fire Engines being that advanced I don't think they'd like cherry diesel.
is it not the same stuff with a coloured dye added?, The Army/forces diesel is it not dyed a green colour?Dunno mate I thought they ran on cheery? They could dye it green I couldn't tell you.
Certain lorrys can run on red, lorrys with cranes attached to them are allowed to run on red, it's the same with concrete pumps, they can run on red because they are classed as a crane.
red diesel is plant and non commercial vehicles like contractors plant you see on a building site, farmers tractors, generators, compressors, fishing boats etc.
Is it not same for Ireland where the diesel is cheaper than uk, its dyed green, white and gold?. To differentiate what side of the border it was bought on.
