You mean the buses dont run when the pubs close? The trams dont run? Parents dont collect their kids? The police ignore things?

You now get back to unfettered access.....your license allows you to drive a taxi, it isnt a proprietors license.....if you really want a taxi proprieotrs license why do you keep selling them?

The only thing I see as being protected are the incomes of Edinburghs cab drivers, your mate AliT once told us he was earning well over a grand per week.......you wouldnt earn anything like that in a deregulated area.....even if you owned your own cab and it was doubled with another driver.

I think if I was an edinburgh owner, I'd put drivers on a percentage of the bag, then Id be a greedy b*stard. But not as rich as you, because you made £100K? selling plates more maybe?

The reality of a Restricted Market:

The fact remains, no one can claim to be doing everything thing they can to protect vulnerable young females, as long as qualified drivers are being denied unfettered access to the tools of their trade. The only thing being protected is vested interests, and their artificial plate values.

What do think happens when Licence Plates are restricted, apart from wee lassies being raped that is?

Of course, if plates were restricted in your area, you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the situation, now would you?

You know, it wouldn't surprise me if the thought had never even crossed your mind Toots.

Now let's pretend you're not an idiot Toots?

I'll give you a clue Toots, in Edinburgh, artificial plate values were, until recently, 50K. Driver's rentals were in excess of £300.

The reason people use a crucifix against vampires is that vampires are allergic to bullshit.
