it seems his previous address/house was ONLY £1000 a week, but he left owing £7000 in rent arrears!

his housing benefit was paid to HIM not the landlord

its strange his new landlord doubled the rent to £2K (a week) when he moved in, now if i was suspicous id think (maybe) the landlord sorted this with him and hes slipping him £500 a week cash back to add to his 7 child DSS benefits

and as both houses are private lets, who paid the month upfront+bond? thats gonna be £5000 on the new one whilst waitng for the return of the old one (£2000?)
