1. He's still here - changed his rented cab - but he's still here up to now.

2. I may be wrong but for "wherevasalakia" you could substitute "Romania".

3. Still canvassing for support for the proposition - or more than willing to debate if you or anyone has a position on this.

No support - disappointing.

No debate - devastating.

Well I set off tommorow towards the far flung north.

The rest of the Plymouth contingent start off on Monday.

I am still looking for some support, I hope those attending in Sunderland are at least considering the current Section 52 situation. I further hope that some or all of you agree that something must be done - whether it is by the adoption of the proposition or by a similar alternative.

On Tuesday, whilst the AGM is going on the chap in Plymouth with the initials RD will be in Court.

I'm looking forward to meeting you good people, if you support or not.

I think you would have more support if Plymouth came under the same rules and regulations of the rest of England-shire

I'm pretty sure if I offered to take Mrs Sussex for a nice break to Sunderland I wouldn't get too positive a response. 8-[

Whilst away in "breezy" Sunderland.....

Cabbie denies assault
A ROMANIAN taxi-driver is to face trial after denying indecently touching a woman.

Remus Dascalescu, aged 33 and from Whitleigh, pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a 19 year-old female passenger on March 16 when he appeared yesterday at Plymouth Crown Court.

Judge Francis Gilbert QC granted Dascalescu, who followed the proceedings with the aid of an interpreter, unconditional bail until his trial on a date to be fixed.

So, as we do not have Section 52 of Road Traffic Act 2006 - he carries on driving. The Court, of course, impose no bail conditions.

I cant believe that this has been dragging on for more than 6 months, shocking, and it continues to gives PH drivers a bad name.
I know he's a Hack now but when he did this he was PH and I have customers still going on about it now.

Jay w, this Ah Sole is dragging your side and my side of the trade down.

Personally I do not care if he is guilty or not guilty, but without Sect. 52 he is causing a great deal of nausea.

Get him to Court, get him tried. If he is guilty, problem solved he's gone. If he's innocent problem solved he didn't do it.
