Does seem a bit strange, after all Nigel seems to have dedicated half his life to lambasting his system then out of the blue it’s all sunshine and roses and he disappears in the process.

Maybe Nigel’s talent and ability to criticise taxi systems has finally been recognised. And having 99% of what it takes to be a salesman in this business, he’s probably working a senior executive by now.

Nigel is alive and well Bill I was speaking to him this morning funnily enough.

The system he works with is still as good as a glass hammer. Trying to get anything productive out of Mercury is like going to a Lady of the Night house for a cuddle, it's not going to happen.

It's on the cards. New phone system going in 12th Jan. Already got other system set up and fully tested. Just a pity new system can't work with that Aussie piece of crap called Hybrex as our super Mercury system was down for 1 hour 20 mins last night. Nothing to do with PDA or internet, just Mercury with their 'start when it wants' approach

Did you get the Phone system with Mercury?? We did with ours and it's proved to be a bag of brown stuff. We were told that BT wouldn't work with the caller ID and that it wouldn't recognise the software so had to install Mercury's system.

Move along a year or so BT come to inspect the line and the engineer was asked why the BT system didn't work? He said I don't know what your on about BT's lines, exchanges and phones are compatible with everything he said your still running this system on a BT line using BT software and your paying more each month to use this 3rd party system.

Excel / Mercury have well and truly had our pants down with this system.
