I have used it plenty in the past and havent had any challenges with it.
I also cant say I have noticed a massive difference for the better either so it may be as much of a placebo affect as it is anything else.

I think its value would be recognised if you were ever in the position were you ran very low or even out of oil, its supposed to coat all the internals so you dont FUBAR your engine but I wouldnt like to test it.

I used to sell it and Molyslip in the shop, never had any problems and I used slick 50 in a couple of vehicles I had to be honest I never noticed a huge difference.
I remember that putting Molyslip in a motorbike using a wet clutch used to sometimes make them slip,so it must reduce friction in some situations. There are now so many wonder cures on the market that it's hard to see the wood for the trees.

except the sills were rotten.....no, it had no sills to be precise

a few bits of ally and a tin of underseal latter and we are at warwick car auctions and i happen to bid on my own car (genuine mistake)

a few bids and the bloke next to me leans down and comes back up with hands like B&W minstrel, i just "tut tutted" and walked away £200 better off

hey, it was good from the sills up!

A mechanic I knew would wipe the rocker box clean on any car he had in for a service where the tappets weren't clattering and swear blind he'd set them.
His mate working on the forecourt would offer to check the oil on cars in for petrol, wipe the top 1/2 inch of the dip stick clean, show it to the customer then pretend to top up with an empty can of oil and put the money for it in his pocket.
It all went tits up when he tried it on a car that had just been 'serviced' by the tappet setter. One got the sack, the other a thick lip.
