You're right about one thing tho, I am happy with my lot but my lot, by all accounts, is a much happier than yours

What you fail to understand is it makes no difference to me if areas are de-restricted or not. You dislike taxi barons, myself personally see a need for rented plated vehicles for those that don't want to buy or in some cases can't buy. As I've said before a free plate should never be allowed to be sold it should be returned to the council when it's no longer required and given to the person at the top of the list if in a restricted area. I see no real problems with managed growth nor do I see a problem with restricted areas providing there is no unmet demand. I do however have a problem seeing people obtain a free plate only to sell almost immediately, that type of person in my eyes is abusing the system that they say is immoral thus making them equally immoral and greedy
