I was just wondering how much a 2011 LTI TX4 cab would cost from lti factory as a mate of mine who works in london is getting tired with his metrocab which he has been driving for 10 years and now thinks he needs a change.

The prices are well advertised, the 'Gold' now comes in at around £33'500 all in.

I'm wishing I'd gone for the LTI TX4 now. All the drivers who have the latest model with the new lights, sump etc seem to be very happy with their cabs.

It does what it says on the tin, its a Taxi which is easy to work in London.

If you drive the merc, you need a degree in pushing buttons, switches and general electronics. Being partially deaf would also be an advantage.

I think both cabs have their 'upsides' and 'downsides', but I'd have been more inclined to go for the TX4. In my opinion, they seem the better of the two options in many respects - but more than anything, the Merc just seems massive.

You haven't got much initiative, have you? Google might help you.

The latest TX's are without doubt the best hackney you can buy. There lots of new ones here and only driver who decided to go for a Vito is changing it when the finance is up.
I love mine. Its now on 12K and is still a joy to own and drive.
I fitted aftermarket reversing sensors last week so now it is 'fully loaded' so to speak
