Showing what you really think.Do you really want to go down the american route where youre paying debt off the rest of your life.Maybe you dont think protest works,but its their right and a sustained campaign can change things.Unwashed,dole scroungers,come on come up with something original !

I take it that you do have kids at uni then? How much of their student loans are they going to repay? I know that my step son and his wife who both left uni 10 years ago have not had to pay anything back yet.

I also know some graduates who are getting money back from there student loans because when they were taken out the interest rate was set at about 2% below base rate so with the base rate being at 0.5% for the last couple of years they are getting around 1.5% interest on their outstanding loans. Go figure!

And you dont think thats going to change ? Most of these cuts hit the poorest supposed to be means tested.

As I've said my daughter is at Uni, well she was until she took a year out to save up, and she says she'd gladly pay back the loan if only she could actually get it, go figure. I'm still of the opinion that education should be free. How much does it costs to keep somebody on the dole for a year? They could take that money and use it for their education

I do, but my family has always paid their way and not ponced off the state.

Uni life is a piece of pi**, and viewed by many as a holiday.

However if you want the £9,000 a year to be paid by the state, tell the government which hospital wards you want to close, or which classes you want to have 50 kids in.
