Good Afternoon

As you will be aware, Cordic have launched GSM gateways for sending SMS texts as part of their despatch system.

We can supply the a the sims which go in to the unit, so please get in touch for a competative quote.

The previous information was inaccurate.

We can supply the a one sim for £173 which gives the users 100,000 texts per month.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Isn't that a bit on the expensive side?? I remember Bill from Datamaster saying something like you could use a PAYG sim with unlimited Texts with an SMS machine for £20 a month.

thats correct, but the networks are becoming aware to the fact of people doing this for text/ marketing solutions. If the volume of texts are deemed to be beyond "responsible use" i.e 50,000 texts on 1 sim per month, they are cancelling the sim.

If however you are on a contractual tariff paying a higher line rental they will let you send as many as you like as they are generating consistent revenue over a period of time.

Get 2 or 3 sim cards.

Quite often the unlimited sim’s included as part of the overall deal, provided of course the numbers justify it. If they can’t or won’t do that, they’ll at least provide you one to meet your needs at a very competitive rate. If all else fails, you’ll just need to shop around to find the best deal. I can’t say which is the best because they change like the weather.

Sadly it's the £49 per month that Cordic wish to charge on top of the One Off payment for the Gateway that is the real rip-off. Don't listen to the rubbish about only being able to send texts slowly with their Standard Gateway - if they used a 3G datacard with a 3G SIM you can send 3600 in an hour.
