No Tariff 3 today only Tariff 2. Tarrif 3 made their eyes water yesterday, £5.00 kick off then £3.00 a mile after that. Didn't have one moaner at all, some were giving out nice tips.

Took a guy to Nottingham yesterday afternoon, the office had quoted him £60-£65 one way, when I got there I could he was a decent chap, he said they've quoted me £60-£65 is that OK mate?? I said I'm not going to take your trousers down mate I'll Tariff 2 you instead of Tariff 3 is that OK? He shook my hand and said thankyou for being honest.

Got to Nottingham fare on the meter was £49.00, he gave me the £65 and said get a drink mate and thanks for being honest with me.

taffiff 3 for us yesterday and today but what a rubbish xmas takings well down on last year and the phones stopped ringing at 21.30 normally flat out till well gone midnight !

Today has been rubbish too although boxing day is always a lot quieter

Busiest Christmas day and boxing day ever, although we don't have a tarrif 3, tarrif 2 is expensive enough for our small town. I have done 10 hours today and took close to a normal weeks takings, yesterday I never worked but those that did and never attempted to rip off customers also had a record days takings.

Our fares were fare and a half on Christmas eve all day and double fare from midnight through to 7 am on Wednesday morning. I always advise customers of the rate when they book or before starting the journey for flag downs. So far I have not had any complaints from customers.
