If you were the NOTW and been found guilty and made to hand over £200k on the strength of pure lies i think you would have a different viewpoint?

So you think the truth came out?

Why do I get the impression that this is not the end of the matter?

The appeal?

Had I been on the jury there would have been no unanimity. End of.

What we're left with is the lesson that you can't trust a socialist.

Just what the establishment ordered ....

The NOTW isn't exactly an honourable and trustworthy bastion of the truth either now, is it?

It's a muck raking rag that's barely fit to wrap your chips in.
It's popularity speaks volumes for the British public.

Yeah. Tittla tattle, poking its nose into private lives, and its claimed they tapped into mobile fone links.

TGhis isn't journalism, it's an invasion of privacy.

Even if the video evoidence was true, and I suspect it was fabricated, so what. What business is it of the rag to poke its nose in?

And what was this so called pal doing recording a video anyway?

And if he WAS a pal enough to allow a video to be made, what kind of a pal would do what he did, and betray his mate.

The whole affair is populated by scumbags, top to bottom.

This hasn't ended yet.

why, cos i think he coulda saved himself (and his wife) a lot of heartbreak and distress by simply telling the truth? he was playing away and got caught out, he isnt above the law and i hope feels the full weight of it

more porridge than the 3 bears

John Prescott got caught out, at least he (of all people) put his hands up to it, Harold Wilson was under suspicion too...what was her name?
