I understand and thats up to you,as far as i know nobody has ever been prosecuted for giving a quoted fare out of the borough i dont think they could.

no but they may be liable for a slapped wrist by not starting the meter on a fare, maybe your next punter will be one of your LOs....

Sasha i know this is difficult for you, so ill try to explain it as simply as possible. If i get asked to go out of the borough and i dont want to i dont go,if i stay in the borough i use the meter. Are you following me so far ? Plus your favourite point if i get asked to go out of the borough and i want to charge a quoted rate i do.Now get back to your shandy and enjoy your christmas !

Yes it is my patch and believe me if you think im the only hack that doesnt use their meter when going out of their area/boundary you really havent a clue .Last time for your benefit you do not have to use your meter if your fare ends outside the borough if you have negotiated the price first. You go to a cab on a rank in blackpool and ask to go to man airport pretty sure 80/90% would give you a fixed price NO METER.

8 – IF A JOURNEY FINISHES OUTSIDE BIRMINGHAM BOUNDRY, WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?
your answers:
"2. Dunno
3. A tester or mechanic (in some areas, in some not) and (i bet) a policeman
4. yes
5. No and inform your LO
6. Yes, if the passenger has a dog (not a seeing eye dog)
7.
8. Any agreed fare"
Are you losing your marbles, or do you remember your own posts ? Only left the answer to question 8 as to spare you any more embarassement .
