You must have missed the one for a student travelling from Mountsorrel that required a male escort due to the students "challenging" behaviour. We were transporting this student under an emergency contract. We stopped when he tried to slash my wifes face with a CD and bruised her arms when she tried to stop him.

Down here that's quite common.

I know at least three drivers that have to use extra harnesses to keep the kids secure.

However they get paid bundles for their runs.

We used to do one from Nottingham to Worksop and back again everyday, he only had a male escort because a woman couldn't handle him if he kicked off. I lost count of the times I've had to pull over on the M1 because he'd kicked off.

and i used to feel troubled taking OAPs to a day centre cos whilst fetching 1 out thier house, the other would do a runner, well a walker, i could see his cap just above the privet hedge bobbing along.....
