They don't have MOT's, as I found out when trying to renew a tax disc online. Or in other words you can't renew online if you don't have an MOT !

Same problem at the post office - 'where's the MOT ?' don't have one, just a compliance certificate,'we can't issue a tax disc without an MOT certificate'.

Not 100% correct mate as ive had this before,I have taxed it without obviously at the post office and online.There just not familiar with it,neither are the polce sometimes as it can come on their system with no mot !.They have had this in london for years.

Our shower don't do that, plenty of cars have gone through these past few months with damaged panels after accidents. Many cars get through with ripped interiors, holes in seats, ripped carpets, damaged headlining etc etc.

That sounds suspiciously like Brum?

which makes looking online at VOSA even more interesting

most embarrasing to get pulled by the ANPR cops when carrying passengers cos you aint on the MOT database!

No i understand you but it wont show up if you look.Im nearly 100% sure.Ive had this in the past when driving cabs back from london and been pulled for no mot.Also had it recently here with a non traffic cop who couldnt get his head round it (no it wasnt for speeding!).As i say theve had this in london for years,but generally speaking if you have a cert of compliance you dont need mot.
