its strange that some LAs allow 20 year old taxis to carry the fare paying publc when TNT/DHL and the like age-limit owner drivers to 4 year old vans.....youd think people were more important than overnight parcels, then again, maybe not

Are you saying a older vehicle isnt roadworthy. Where do you get this evidence from?

Roadworthy - maybe
Image? ---- now thats another thing altogether isnt it

I remember the day I stepped up from smiley transits to a brand new van

oh cc youve hurt my feelings.Dont really want to go on about this cause itll get boring.People here must be different cause 9 times out of ten when someone approaches you here to go out of town theyll ask "how much".If you say on the meter, they wont go they want a fixed price, thats because of our beloved ph giving huge discounts. Now and again as ive said allready i do go but itll be more than whatever a company charges. So ill ring one of my friends on ph.{Yes i do have some}and give it them.As for comment about vehicle i always hear the same thing ,old cab blah blah. My cab has to go over a inspection every 4 months .Its stricter than a normal one because it has to be of "exeptional condition"meaning you fail on too many things and your off the road you cant put it back on.I take that risk because i know how good the cab is.I maintain and drive it myself so dont you worry about little old me.as for he might be wealthy, sorry pottless all donations can be sent to me !

And of course you have a Private Hire Operator Licence, so that you act legally when you give your PH mate the job?

What's that I hear you say?

You don't have a Private Hire Operator Licence?

Well there's a surprise!!!

I never give my PH mates a PH job.

But then again, I have no PH mates.

Press the quote button. When you get to the bit where you type your reply put it AFTER the stuff from the previous post that's there already.

DON'T touch the stuff from the previous post generated by the computer. LEAVE IT alone and just type your response after it.

And if you've made the post and it doesn't work then there's a little button called 'edit' in the top right corner - beside the 'quote' button - and this will take you back to the screen where you type in your response, so you can have another go :D

That's why my posts are always word-perfect
