It's simply not good enough to say things like “Edinburgh Council has carried out a reasonable survey".

How do you have the gaul to sit in judgement of Edinburgh Council when you sell plates. I've never come across such a perfect example of double standards in my life, ffs get off the soap box you've no right to be there, you hypocrite

I've never sold a plate in my life. :-|

Good question.

Edinburgh has surveys and their policy could be considered as reasonable and lawful.

Now what you on about.

Would you consider a reasonable survey a reasonable response to wee lassies being raped?

It apparently happens on a frequent basis, although I shudder to imagine the process:

Before anyone comments, I have no proclivity to sexual abuse of any kind. I am happily married with married son, daughter and grandson. I merely offer the above as a balanced view on preceding comments.

Certainly not, would you?

But your again deliberably trying, rather like a bull in a china shop, presumably because your thick, trying to change the contect of my words....again.

I seriously think your deliberatly trying to get TDO closed down, if thats the case, you and jasper should be banned, because many people benefit from this site, as opposed to you and jasper, who seem to want to destroy it.

If you want to refer to my words they were;

Good question.

Now what you on about.

I do aplogise, you can get back on your soap box  Oh but before you do would you be so kind as to answer a few questions for me, please.

How many licenses have been issued to you or a company you own or are a part of?

Has the said company, if it exists, sold any vehicle licenses?

Do you rent out any vehicle licenses or does any company as described above?

Well I wouldn't normally point out spelling or grammar mistakes, but given the irony of you're comment it should be underlined that it should be "you're", not "your".

"You're" being the shortened version of "you are".

Thus my own "you're" is incorrect, because "you are comment" clearly doesn't make sense [-( :D

Who cares? You must know that any licences which are sold are only done so by the rules. So what's your problem? And what's the relevance to this thread?

And where's my apology for correctly stating that the council is responsible for public safety? Who was it who said it didn't?

The council ignored the warnings twice. Two girls were harmed.

It doesn't get more dificult than that.

Difficult has two f's.

That aside....who cares......the subscribers and readers of TDO.....are we to believe Gary Thompson gave his plate away....or was it revoked?

He obviously believes he didn't hold a plate and sell it.....yet others seem to know different.

So whats the truth Jim? Do you deal in truth?

The Fact is reasonable is reasonable and in the vast majority of opinion within Edinburgh the Council act Reasonable where the supply of Taxi's and PHC are concerned

Jim thinks it's reasonable to hire/rent a Taxi for 12 hours but only work that Taxi for 6 hours    IT'S YOUR FAULT JIM, if guy's like you worked their hours then there would be even less risk to the public, C'mon Jim if there is blame YOU have to accept YOU are also to blame
