Do you mean Mr T's multiple posts?

It seems that some of them have been deleted, but if you check Mr T's record via his profile then you'll see that a couple are still there.

Making identical posts throughout the forum for no obvious purpose constitutes forum abuse and such posts will be deleted, as is done when this is caused by technical problems.

If Mr T wants to make a point then he's free to do so, but not make the same point over and over again. =;

Our web host tells us that the recent technical problems may have been caused by the growing size of the forum's database of records, so we don't want extraneous chit on the site.

Yes, thanks Captain, but it gave me a chance to re-iterate what had been said already, and also to ask Mr T to put up or shut up.

The problem is that Mr T seems the type to cry wolf over the slightest thing that he thinks may help his case and/or discredit the site, and a further problem is that some people reading his complaints may think he has been genuinely wronged.

He has learned that from the administration of this site.

Maybe when he starts ignoring posts or points raised he would have graduated to the level of the admin.

Wot, you mean the points that you raised recently that I've answered umpteen times before but YOU ignore them and then come up with the same point again.

Sadly that's about the level of your debating - you continually repeat the same point and ignore any responses until the person you are debating with just can't be bothered anymore - 10 out of 10 for persistance, but nothing for substance.

Later today I'll probably get round to answering your points and referring you to points I've made umpteen times before, but doing this is not something I relish because it just brings forward the time when you'll dredge up the same old stuff and we'll have to start all over again.

BTW, have you any specific points re Mr T, or are you just crying wolf like him?

As for the admin of this site, given the fate of the two you've been involved in, I don't think you should be trying to tell people how to run theirs

A third possibility is the trade.

Maybe Blackpool licensing allows the trade to bully it, if not the DfT

Three more plate values have been assessed bringing the database to 32 out of 123 authorities. Nottingham is surprisingly low at only 10k, Plymouth are 20k with Portsmouth at 25k. Halifax remains the highest with Nottingham now the lowest.

If there are any adjustments that I think need addressing with regard to certain anomalies such as dual plates etc in Solihull, it will be done nearer the time this database is completed.

Council.

I know you don't like critisism on this piece JD, but as long as you keep publishin inaccurate information I will keep pointing it out.

Newcatle may well have 819 HC but the plate values differ between the saloon and "W" plates it is wrong to quote them all as £25K as this is the figure saught for saloon plates.

Also you don't point out that Newcastle previously derestricted and re-introduced a restriction policy.

If you quoted Newcastle prices or status wrongly then you may well have done it elsewhere, that is why I point these things out.

A little birdie told me that the council wouldn't fight a challenge, should someone put up.

Let's hope no-one has to put up, and the council de-limit.

No age restrictions on either saloons or WAV's.

So let me get this straight, you are saying I can spend ten grand on a wav and put a plate on it for free? or, I can spend five grand on a saloon vehicle and expect to pay another ten grand for the plate?

You can get a Metro or an old LTI thing for a grand or two from the Birmingham Warehouse.

YOU CAN SPEND A COUPLE OF HUNDRED ON A WAV AND PLATE IT FOR FREE.

on 3 forums I have resd these arguments they never end, are continual and will always be so.

would be better, if people could understand that your data base is for restricted authorities only, I could give you some prices for taxis in outer areas of calderdale derestricted, would be dishonest, as these vehicles have bundles of work with them.

stick to it John.
