Mansfields Enforcement officer Chris Reynolds has resigned, Chris came into the job in July after 25 years in the police force, he will be saldy missed because he was for the drivers, word from the Council quangoes is that Chris got fed up of all the idiots at the Council and the red tape.

Because he fought for the drivers, also with the number of un-licensed cabs touting for custom in Mansfield he couldn't do anything because his hands were tied by people upstairs.

Nige,
I am concerned here it isnt the job of enforcement to be "all for the drivers"

as an ex police officer, he should know about red tape.

now Nige how do you know this?

I have a degree of sympathy with Nidge here,

I know of two differing licensing officers working for the same LA.

The first one upon a complaint seems to believe all parties except the driver, whereas the other will speak with all parties before making a decision.

Otherwise, Yorkie is correct.

Regards

Captain cab
