within 5 miles I've seen just about every price from £131.9 (tesco)-£139.9 (shell) BP even varies between £135.9 and £136.9 how they can justify the difference is beyond me. None of the above is a services, they are all, bar one BP, nowhere near a M'way.

rip off britain is flourishing.

What you guys need is a Posivflo fuel saver.

These fuel saving devices are nonsense, they are in effect a placebo.

They rely on the fact that somebody that fits one is trying to save fuel, and so drives in a more economical manner when they fit one.

You will be replying to those emails from Nigeria next.
Some people will fall for anything.

It's actually fitted to the fuel pipe, that joins to the fuel rail, above the cylinder head. Nowhere near, and well after the injection pump. (on a tx4 anyway)

Whether it's psycological, or not. It works for me.

I know one guy who is running an auto TX1 and last week at 131.9 per ltr, he was 30pence per mile, while I was running at an average of 23pence per mile!(TX4 auto.)

Sounds like similar claims that a gadget (Fuel Cat) made that was for sale allowing your car which wasn't designed for unleaded fuel to run unleaded without any damage to valve seats. It was all bollox and Trading Standards told them to stop all advertising cos they couldn't substantiate any of the claims made about the product. Sucker me bought one (50 quid) for my old Ford Capri. I knackered two cylinder heads running unleaded fuel.
So just a note of caution with all these miracle gadgets. If you listened to all the claims and attached all the gadgets to yer car, you should end up with it running on fresh air
