We've always had access to toilet facilities at our base. However we have now been told that we are no longer allowed to use them. They say they don't have to provide any facilities because we are self employed. Does anybody know whether they have to provide facilities or not? :sad:

Dont' have to provide you with toilets, but I would have thought they had to provide them for the operators etc.

If they withdraw the facilities then perhaps all drivers should also withdraw an appropriate amount of rent as well !

Ring your Licensing office and ask them, if it is not ask them to make it a requirement to operate a PH office to supply toilets for drivers, I think they might welcome your call.

It is a sh;t job without all that greif.

Our local 24 hour Shell Garage lets taxi drivers use the toilets.

It may be Coincidence but the Good folk of Hawick have been Calling Galashiels folks "Pail Merks" for years...supposedly because Galashiels (Skippys Parish) was the last town in the Borders to get a decent Plumbed sewerage system and they Were Pee'in and Sh*ting in pails (Buckets) that left a wee red ring round their Backsides....Hence their nick name.."Pail Merks" or "Bucket Marks"..

That photo could be taken on any given day on Gala law just with the lion superimposed using Painshop-pro..
