Yep, 155,000 miles and counting,
I have been running it on diesel from Asda for the last 3 months, and the smoke test was a quarter of what is allowed the cleanest they have seen in a long time :D

Diesel is usually better from a place with a high turnover. That new Asda station must be selling far more than the Shell station that charged an arm and a leg.
I put a gallon in when I was down, and filled up beside Edinburgh on the way back.
Have they gone bust yet BTW?

I get better MPG from Shell diesel vs tesco (and i have done the comparison) plus my engine is quieter

for the same price (or less) ill use shell
