I have a driver who was working for another firm in the town and he worked around 70 hours a week for a year and his share after paying for the fuel, insurance and 40% of the bag ended up at £7,000 for the year, around £2.00 per hour.


That doesn't surprise me one bit although there were one or two drivers from Stamford moved to Melton a few years ago bacause the earnings were much better over there apparently mind you a couple of those were no great loss :wink:
