I am sure we will win this case without even breaking into a sweat CC. The CEC doesn't have a leg to stand on, and I can't wait to see how they defend their responsibilities under the HRA. I know for a fact and can prove they are not remotely interested in the rights of taxi drivers.

Oh and btw, I now know all about this guy who made the complaint and his connection to the cab trade. He's a very naughty boy, but never mind, it'll all come out in the wash.

I think Inspector Frank Smith was a little over zealous in his little chitchat with this clown.

Then you should perhaps frequent yourself with how the court will consider the case.

You mention HRA....again....but you dismissed it earlier when you posted.....Taxi Drivers have no RIGHTS or PROTECTIONS afforded to them under the HRA

Interesting 8)

CC

Don't be so bloody stupid Uncle Tom. The clue is in the name, the HUMAN rights act, it doesn't say except for taxi drivers.

I can't work out why someone like you who claims to support drivers would have them denied their rights ?

Very interesting but I think the lady in the conversation didn't really comprehend the questions. Hardly surprising that a taxi driver from Edinburgh airport would discuss international law

Is this an idiots outing for Uncle Tom's who claim to represent taxi drivers?

How many times, this is not about me, and it never was. This is about the guys you claim to represent.

For guys who claim to be the stalwarts of the trade you have a funny way of supporting you "members" and drivers.

Did you ever have a sense of humour or irony for that matter. I didn't even see it as a pop at you, me thinks you're getting paranoid

I think I could be described as being a realist. I simply don't do paranoia or self delusion. I leave that to the so called business men taxi drivers and trade representatives like CC, and Trevor.

You, on the other hand, are just a persistent nuisance.

Once upon a time driving a taxi was seen as a step up from working in McDonald's or selling the Big Issue, but now I'm not so sure. I would probably put McDonald's in the lead with the Big Issue second with Taxi Driving not even in the running.

Uncle Tom's have all but killed this game. :-|

I could just see you working in Mac Dees with the cap on asking if they'd like fries with that??   You couldn't make it up.

One of these days you might actually make a contribution to this forum without making an a*se of yourself.

At least we know why you are driving a taxi. Your communication skills are somewhat limited for working in McDonalds.

What is it with guys like you Grandad, have you never thought to speak out against or to question anyone in authority? Are all your days throughout your pathetic little life spent fawning and tugging the forelock to those you believe have a higher status “Begging your pardon kind sir, can you please spare a shilling for a lowly taxi driver” Perhaps you would like to go back to good old days of hard days work for a damn good thrashing?

Do me a favour and ask yourself a question Grandad, “why do people treat me like the [edited by admin] on their shoes and why am I so acceptant of it?”

And to think people have died so that people like of you can have a voice.

Well begging your pardon guvnor but last month I took our LO on over a refusal to licence a vehicle and won. I put that victory down to my being prepared to work with the local council and not against them. Would you believe that the first booking I received after gaining the vehicle license was from a councillor who is on the licensing committee.
What chance would you have with your attitude?
