Toots, in my opinion, you are confusing your desperation to be noticed and to be taken seriously with having a valid opinion. Your “opinion” is more about who you are and not the subject on which you are commenting.
In short, GET HELP!!

That only sums up excactly what everyone thinks of you and jimmy boy.

Did that not occur to you?

Frank, we are recognised for our opinions and if that was not the case you would not be here, and my licence would not be suspended. Whereas Toots, just wants to be recognised her “opinions” come a poor second to her need to be noticed.

What I say might be cruel and lack feeling, but it's the truth as I see it, nevertheless.

The day that Toots, has a valid opinion about anything I will be over the moon.

Yes I do,

Apart from a very few, most people consider that you and jimmy boy are just attention seeking trouble makers.
They don't even believe that you yourself believe the stuff that you come out with. they just think you are trying to get a rise out of people.

I have met you in the past and I have no doubt that when you started being (for want of a better word) a mouthy baztard, that you had only good intentions.

But nowadays, you have fallen into the same trap as jimmy boy, in thinking that you are far more important than you really are. And are happy to trouble make just for your personal ammusement.

I would bet that you would be surprised if you realised that most Edinburgh taxi drivers have no idea who you are.

I am told that the general taxi talk on the ranks the past few weeks has been about, Ranks around Waverley, Possible fare rise, and various vehicle types. Haymarket could be an exception but otherwise you dont get a mention.

Before you say "You are on here talking about me" the amount of Edinburgh drivers that come on these forums doesn't add up to much at all.

I have lots of valid opinions, it's just they're not valid in your opinion and seeing as I don't care much for your opinion it doesn't matter to me one bit. Nor do I think it's cruel or lacking in feeling what you say because as I've said many times before you are irrelevant to me so it doesn't matter how you say things or what you say about me, you don't know me and I don't care.

Personally you'd have had a better arguement if you'd followed the councils 'procedure' and then proved it ineffective or unlawful. Seeing as you didn't you left little choice and anybody with half a brain will see what you tried to do

Has the Scottish section turned into the Skull & Jasbar section?

This really is starting to get awfully boring eusasmiles.zip eusasmiles.zip eusasmiles.zip any chance we can start having a discussion about something that applies to all of us and not just the two tw*t's they have named the Scottish Section after.

Frank, your flattery will get you nowhere but your lack of understanding is astounding. For the most part, the people that frequent these forums are the ones that count. The rest is just sheeple. The arguments put forward here are carried to the body of the herd. Forums for some are just guys having a spat, but for others. They are an education and challenge to what used to be accepted as the norm.

This is where bottom up accountability is brought to top down authoritarian power structures. One might call it anarchy, but for others. This is where true democracy happens. When people are educated to their situations and when connected to others of a similar ilk their beliefs can go viral.

The revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya started on Facebook.

The challenge to the council started with Fastblacks and TDO. Plates have been won and lost but the challenge to the council and their restriction of licence plates goes on. We are all still waiting for the judges decision remember?

My suspension and the forthcoming court case will travel across the length and breadth of the country in a heartbeat.

All the above from taxi forums and social networks, it's really people like you who don't matter Frank. You are quite simply out of your depth.

Aye, Come the revolution.

Just how many EDINBURGH taxi drivers frequent these forums?
And then how many of that figure agree with you?

The percentage must be negligable.

Or, How many EDINBURGH taxi drivers even know who you are?
And again how many of them agree with you?

And finally, because you really are not as important as you seem to think,
How many care?

The ones fighting and wining their plates perhaps.

Quite a few I would imagine especially the ones paying ridiculous rentals.

The council have been in court for more the five years and they are about to lose their most recent outing.

I know plenty and more now than ever.

You are not on this forum because you don't care, so you, for one.

Your telling lies Frank, your defence of the cab inspector, the council and everything taxi betrays a deep seated fear of what the future might bring. Well here's the bad news Frank, the trade is fecked, and the good old days are never to return at least not for us. Before I was suspended my income was down on average £50 a shift. The Big Issue seller on the Haymarket Rank was making more money. I was working to work, and to me, it was just not worth it.

The futility of the fecking job was driving me nuts.

I can only agree with you on how bad the trade has become.

I presumed that you knew from what I had posted on the other forum,
But I sold my plate and left last year.

This has annoyed some, but I still hold my taxi drivers licence.
And if things get desperate, you never know, I might have to return.
So I keep on posting.
