If you didn't sell/transfer your plate a few tears ago (for a profit) you couldve been renting it out 24/7 and making a nice earning from the rentals each week.
Would be £700 p/w (If you believe your inflated prices) for just 2 guys double shifted!!!
Listen, in a rat life everything is relative. You have slow rats and fast rats and fat rats, but at the end of the day. You are still a rat. Trying to climb over another rat. This is your world LongshanksED, enjoy.

And I bet Mr LongshanksED does enjoy; to the full!!
As rightly he should!!
Better than being self-unemployed, like you!!!
If you are a mindless unit of production like you and Longshanks, Brummie then I can see how the job suits you down to the ground, but it's not for me. The futility of more hours, less money and with no prospects of it ever improving, signals, it's time to leave. I don't want to die like a rat on a wheel running faster and faster with a lot of other rats that simply don't have the brains to improve their lot or to know any better. There has to be more to life. I'll take my chances.

Good!!!
It's time you left the cab trade to the professionals!!
But whatever you choose as your next trade, profession or hobby, you'll still have to argue that those already in that job are doing it wrongly.
Because you, Mr Skull, would argue with the wind, if only the wind could talk!!
Brummie, I hate to burst your bubble, but “It's time you left the cab trade to the professionals!!”.
Professional people don't allow their standards to be dictated by councillors. And they don't need to be told the value of their services and how much they can charge the public. They also have rights and protections. Taxi drivers don't.
You Brummie, are a pseudo employee of the council but without the benefits.
I could go on but I don't think there would be much of a point.

You are delusional.
